STATE REQUIREMENTS TO GET A BROKER LICENSE
Complete 5 mandated and 3 elective college-level Real Estate courses
If you have a Regular Salesperson License, you may have
3 of these courses already completed
Meet one of the following summary requirements*:
- Have a 4-year college degree from an accredited college, or
- Member of the bar of any state in the USA, or
- Graduates of law schools recognized by the Calif. State Bar will need to complete R.E. Finance
and R.E. Appraisal, or
- Minimum of 2-year full-time licensed salesperson experience within the past 5 years

Pass the State DRE Brokers' Exam with a grade of only 75%
Test on the Internet or Open-Book with a Monitor
Only 60% needed to pass (Lowest in the State)
