STATE REQUIREMENTS TO GET A BROKER LICENSE
Complete 5 mandated and 3 elective college-level Real Estate courses
If you have a Regular Salesperson License,
you may have 3 of these courses already completed

Meet one of the following summary requirements*:
  1. Have a 4-year college degree from an accredited college, or
  2. Member of the bar of any state in the USA, or
  3. Graduates of law schools recognized by the Calif. State Bar will need to complete R.E. Finance and R.E. Appraisal, or
  4. Minimum of 2-year full-time licensed salesperson experience within the past 5 years

Test on the Internet or Open-Book with a Monitor

OUR PLAN
  1. Take the DUANE GOMER SEMINAR HOME STUDY COURSES and pass the easy open-book final exams either on the Internet or with a monitor near you.
  2. Request a test date from the DRE (This takes about 6 - 8 weeks)
  3. Prepare for the DRE Test. (Approximately 60% of all applicants fail - You need exam preparation!)
    • Buy the Exam Preparation package for $85.00. The package includes approximately 800 practice questions and answers taken from past state exam as well as three audio CD's. For an added value you will receive access to an outstanding Web site that weekly publishes up-to-the-minute possible exam questions and also a State approved glossary free (a $15 value), OR
    • Attend a one-day crash course - available only in Southern California. This program includes all the items listed above plus an outstanding one-day review with John Henderson, a noted legal and real estate expert. The cost is only $135.00. We recommend that you take the one-day crash program when you request a test date. You study for a few weeks until just before your test date and then you should take the course again for only $10.00. This will save you time and money and greatly enhance your chances of passing.
    • If by a remote chance you fail the State Exam, you can take this review course again at no cost. We make no money unless you pass the State Exam!!
